How Do You See the Difference Between Discontinuity and Supersessionism?

Richard Hayes has just recently published a book on Echoes of the Old Testament in the Gospel. He shows how the four Gospel writers used Old Testament text in a variety of very imaginative ways. And I think that is faithful to the process of what the early church itself was doing when it appealed to the Old Testament as well.
