Kant's Theology of Reason
Many people believe that rights are ultimately given by the deity. Of course, there is a tradition which provides some grounding for that. I find the replacement of God by the concept of pure reason even less plausible. If you want to have a concept that does allow you to bake bread, you're going to have to have a notion of reason that's more historically specified and contentful.
