We start sleeping with people who, if this were a month or two ago, we'd form blind that we wouldn't have anything to do with them again. We make entirely different decisions at this time of year than we would do at any other time. And then next thing you know, we have far more regrets than we entered into this 12 weeks of self-esteem torment with. The Christmas fairies made me do it. Or if it's further on, Valentine's made me doIt. We lose the run of ourselves. We stop being grounded. We get caught up in hype. We judge ourselves and think, oh my gosh, I'm not living up to society standards.
