The Lord Is the Source of Wisdom for the Righteous
There are instructive parallels between verses 9 to 11, the third stanza. In wisdom, there is an internalizing of the word in delight and memorization. As wisdom is internalized, knowledge will become increasingly desirable. The guarding that such a person experiences will increasingly be experienced from within. Just as the tablets of the covenant are treasured in the ark of the covenant at the heart of the temple, so the word of the Lord is treasured inthe heart of the wise.
