Dublin has lots of industrial estates spotted around on the outskirts. And loads and loads of places that are zoned for commercial in the center. So eventually what you get is people are required to travel between these three areas, then transport becomes a problem. The reason buses can't actually be dependable in any city is because they're stuck behind cars. They have an anti-democratic issue as well going on. It's all about how do you price space on the road?
