I was visited at one of my surgeries in Brockstove by a constituent, Aaron Horsey. His wife Bernadette tragically passed away whilst giving birth to Tim. The current eligibility requirements differ between that of the surviving birthing partner as compared to the surviving non-birthing partner. This meant he was not entitled to leave to raise his son. I'm very concerned to hear that that is not happening in this case. And I will, of course, ensure that he gets a meeting with the relevant minister as soon as possible to resolve this issue.
