Bloomberg has announced that it is launching a FOSS contributor fund. The staff at Bloomberg will pick three different open source projects that they want to support, and Bloomberg will give them each $10,000. We use Curl, a distributed task queue in the Django and Python ecosystem which turns out used broadly inside Bloomberg.
