The Irony of Rex Uerman
Rex Uerman was subject to six tax liens filed by the IRS between 2010 and 2021. Huerman owed a total of more than 425 thousand dollars for taxes he failed to pay going all the way back to 2005. According to CNN Huerman filed consecutive lawsuits against drivers accusing them of injuring him in minor car accidents. In 2007 an apartment building that he had been hired to renovate was declared unsafe by fire officials who ordered two dozen families to evacuate. The New York City Buildings Department commissioner said that the agency was investigating whether Huerman falsely identified the building as vacant.
