The Windfall Tax Versus the Hand Outs
If economic conditions don't improve, and we've got the same political pressures then as we have now, i don't see that the chance s going to stop. Now, some sort of relief is, i think, justified, particularly on poorest households. But he can't go on for ever like this. And the contrast, it seems to me, is very striking between the hand outs over on the one hand, and then this tax on working people through national insurance on the other.
