Eric says western commentators portray china as a massive challenge to liberal international order. One of our listeners, michael in shanghai, who's been a long time listener, puts together some of his thoughts and objections to that statement. Eric: Both issues exist within the same space and should have been answered separately based on the events that took place. The reality is this is a chain of thought that distracts from the actual experiences of individuals whose humanity will continue to be diminished based on the colour of skin they hold. Michael: We always thought of this show as an exchange of ideas between people with different points of view. And i stand 100% corrected about those two issues not melting together
