Is There a Connection Between Tolkien and the Algoth?
There is a clear connection here. I would argue that every elevator created the habits by a direct act, but that's my crazy, semi-aritical view of the origin of the habits. No, I think it's a clear connection between the god of the Bible, Old Testament and Tolkien's,. But the god of his created mythology is the same as the Algoth. Except he has another name. He doesn't present or reveal himself in the same way because it's a different culture. It's a pre-Christian, pre-English mythology. Creating the air of the dwarves.
