The Importance of Safety in the Emergency Department
I worry for the people in our community who the emergency department is not a place of safety for. Just when in doubt, just come on in. There's a safe place for you. I also think there's a turning of the worm. In Australia anyway, we're taking domestic violence a lot more seriously thanks to people like Rosie Batty. And she's almost working in tandem with that greater philosophy as well.
