How to Increase Choline Levels in the Basal Ganglia

In the basal ganglia, dopamine signals that something new is worthy of attention. Dopamine cannot be a meaningful signal unless you have adequate GABA to suppress your attention to everything else. You do want to help his acetylcholine levels, but remember that choline is a methyl donor. If alpha-GPC supplementation appears to be a problem, you might want to tryAlpha-GPC supplementing rather than choline. The more choline you have, the more important it becomes that the glycine is kept high enough to buffer excess methylation.
