The Scary Side of Exponential Growth

Infection rate of coronavirus is similar to an exponential growth curve. But it goes from being almost unnoticeable to exploding in a matter of weeks. The same infection rate, but the number of people you infect on average makes a big difference to the total number of people who are infected later. And what I think is particularly scaring about exponential growth is that it just absolutely explodes.
