Generalized Tony Clonic Seizure
In a generalized tony clonic seizure, usually very rhythmic, jerking of the arms and legs. There's what used to be called partial seizures, complex partial and simple partial. The most common generalized toniclonic. But there are generalized seizures that are not tonic clonic. These are much more common in childhood. Those children can become adults and still have absentes where the patient is not conscious, but they're awake.
