The Parallel to Cryptocurrency
There's actually a big strong parallel to all things crypto because one of the things I believe and a lot of folks in crypto believe is that open systems, open connectivity, just openness in general tends to win out in the long run. It harnesses kind of the forces of the internet harnesses creativity. Even back then, I think one of the reasons push failed is the technology. One of the reasons AOL is not a trillion dollar company today is that openness over proprietary wall garden close systems.
