The Bearish Scenario in China

China's economy likely grew rapidly in April, but data out today might obscure a loss of momentum. Retail sales are expected to have jumped 22% from the previous year. Infrastructure investment probably helped as local governments issued special bonds to boost activity. The bearish scenario is pretty well supported here still.
