A lot of people in the market are trying to draw a distinction between a soft recession, or a shallow one, and one that is much more damaging. I think its going to be a relatively mild recession at this point because the financial system looks like it's pretty solid. You really get a deep down turn when things in the financial system break and the ability to supply credit to people becomes impaired. So i i would expect a mild recession like 19 90 ortor two thousand and one,. A not tokep recession like 73, 74, or, of course, the great financial crisis.
