Teaching Diagnostic Reasoning

I think that what i observe now, and i am involved in it some s, in teaching undergraduates is that we are trying to teach diagnostic reasoning at really quite a conceptual level. And when i think back, and this is where my comments about the danger of sounding like a dinosaur come in, well, how was I taught diagnostic reasoning? There were no courses on diagnostic reasoning at all. What happened was that we were taught and trained around individual patient stories,. Usually at the bedside, but sometimes in a case presentation setting. So i think we've got to be careful that we don't drift away from what i would call asbeast learning. Yesand it's otin where
