Teaching Diagnostic Reasoning
I think that what i observe now, and i am involved in it some s, in teaching undergraduates is that we are trying to teach diagnostic reasoning at really quite a conceptual level. And when i think back, and this is where my comments about the danger of sounding like a dinosaur come in, well, how was I taught diagnostic reasoning? There were no courses on diagnostic reasoning at all. What happened was that we were taught and trained around individual patient stories,.
