Sally Kohn: It's increasingly obvious to me that the next intelligent race will be border collies. She says a dog named Rika who had learned hundreds of words and chase it was what prompted John Pitney to study Chaser, who eventually I think learned a thousand and twenty two names of words. Kohn: There are an enormous number of dogs that are as smart as like three year old humans just out there that we're not paying attention to. And if you really have something for a border collie to do, she writes, "you should only get one"
