The Practice of History Is Something That People Take Very Seriously
Joseph smith has a chip tooth from earlier in his life, and so his voice whistles a little bit. They're often complaining about their lungs. In other words, they can't project your speaking outdoors to an audience of hundreds of people. That takes its toll. Sometimes you could only speak for ten or 15 minutes because your voice game out. I just can't imagine the environment in which es sunday sessions or general conferences happened. And i think that's a really touching moment that shows up in pieces in this volume.
