DeSantis Can Beat Trump?

I think I agree with you that he's less than likely to run. But working against that is basically like you do things in politics when your stock is high. DeSantis's stock couldn't be much higher among the party faithful than it is now. He can beat Trump. I don't know that he will. And even if he does beat Trump, can Trump in a kind of fit of peak pull off enough of his supporters as an either independent candidate or in some other permutation where you win the primary? That looks kind of hard. Maybe I should wait till 2028 When certainly if Trump is the guy again, I don't think he would.
