How to Use a Refrigerator to Save Energy

I'm always a little annoyed that in, in the UK during winter, it's so cold outside. And so we spend a lot of energy heating up our houses. But then inside that we have a fridge and we're spending even more energy to have a cold box inside the warm environment. So I've decided to not block up the hole.
