The History of the Second Amendment
The Second Amendment is the most divisive and polarizing amendment in America's original Bill of Rights. It was drafted over 230 years ago, as America's founding fathers were lifting themselves from up under the oppressive grip of the British. Ironically enough, as they were leaving their oppressor, they were simultaneously oppressing a whole other race of people by way of the trans-aglantic slave trade.
