Genetically Modified Japanese Kilyfish
Five people have been arrested and four refer to prosecutors for their alleged involvement in the unauthorized cultivation of Japanese kilyfish. The fish originating from eggs taken from a Tokyo Institute of Technology Lab by student, police say. Police said there's no danger to biodiversity, but 35 or four misjoints and a 60 year old company employee called Noyuki, who's suspected of transporting and breeding genetically modifiedJapanese kilyfish in 2002. In one case two fish had been sold for as much as 100,000 yen.
