Are There Any Compatibility Between Buddhism and Marxism?

Buddhism is a living tradition it's changed markedly over two and a half thousand years. Lots of aspects of Buddhism which were acceptable in an Asian culture and context are not going to be acceptable to Western thinkers. Marxism shouldn't be a kind of fossilised dogma. We've learnt from the history of the last 150 years and it's up to us to improve Marxism and if you like improve Buddhist philosophy.
