The standard story you get in the textbook is that in 1919, there's a solar eclipse, Einstein predicted that light would bend around a large gravitational mass like the sun. And no, that wasn't what happened as I discovered. In fact, there were actually two teams that were sent out. One team, it was cloudy and they just got next to no data. The other team, the data was kind of in between what Newton predicted versus what Einstein predicted.
