The Dangers of Restricting Speech

I think the more permissive attitude toward restrictions on speech hasn't been a good thing. People have good reason outside of politics to want to be able to influence the development of their society culturally. I feel that my society places a greater emphasis on sex, sexual attractiveness than would be desirable. But that's the price of living in a free society. If you want to live on terms of freedom with other people, you have to accept the society that results from everybody's having access to a public space. Just have to accept it.
