The Dangers of a Pause on AI Development

I think it's really, here's what I'm concerned about with AI and perhaps why I'm not as hard as some people are on it. The problem is a lot of people coming out right now calling for like, hey, we need more regulation. We need to shut down this and that bad ways it can be used. It's up to us to as we learn and grow with these tools to set safeguards. An AI researcher out of Brazil recently said that AI could replace 80% of jobs in the next few years.
