Book Review - Duboys

The book is a combination of du boi's personal development with an interest in illuminating the meaning of race in world history. Duboys explores his ancestry, contrasting the identifiable european ancestry on his father's side to his lack of knowledge as to his most recent ancestor to live in africa on that side. He eventually quotes heritage by county cullen, one of the great poets of the harlem renaissance and for a short time duboy's son in law.
