Ed's Sentence to 50 Years in Prison

Ed Mulaney was found guilty of first degree murder and sentenced to 50 years in prison. His girlfriend Nancy attended his sentencing hearing even though she didn't want to but wanted to support Jessica the daughter so like her boyfriend's daughter. It was only three years into his 50-year prison sentence that Ed died of a heart attack at only 52 years old. A 2017 review of the case stated that the case demonstrated why crime scene procedures are so important to follow which we see all the time on this show.
