Bec's investing beginnings and confusion

Today, the one and only Bec Syed has volunteered to jump into the Investing Diaries seat so we can get pervy on her first year as an investor (and yes, it’s exactly as Bec-coded as you’d expect). She walks us through how she went from not really understanding what investing even was, to building an almost $1,500 investment portfolio in the background of her very normal, but very chaotic life. (Yep, we're so proud of her too!) We get into what it actually looks like to invest when you don’t have heaps of spare cash, why round-ups and automation are a game changer, and how seeing tiny wins along the way completely changed how money feels. In her lovable Bec way she's honest about the confusion, the questionable decisions, the accidental wins, and the fact that she still very much learning as she goes. It’s proof that you don't have to have it all figured out when it comes to investing, you just need to start. And if Bec can do it… honestly, so can you.
