Precision Fermentation Could Save the Environment

The United Nations has calculated that between 2013 and 2019, an area of tropical forests the size of Norway was cleared illegally for agriculture. Precision fermentation can be used to make things like omega-3 fatty acids. The prospect of brewery type vats making foodstuffs may seem harmless or even attractive but there are those who say it is by no means risk-free.
