After 9 eleven, we were working with the families of the a workers who cleaned the trade towers and ran the elevators. Many of them did not speak english, so we had to translate. My beginning was this, what you're experiencing is ambiguous loss because your loved ones are still missing. It is the most difficult, most stressful loss there is. But it is not your fault. That's all i would say before the translators took over. And the people understood that and felt relieved....
