I'm not tracking the arguments on the sort of pinker side as much, but they do come into the story on occasion as grist for this kind of mill. But these become these sort of nightmare visions of what a scientific culture might look like if it's sort of taken to its fullest. All this Huxley's earlier novel is constantly under discussion in the post-war period as it is again today.
