Cognitive science, supposedly my specialization in grad school, pretty quickly ends up being something that i would be less interested in. I think there's a reason that we haven't done texts that are trying to use neurological data to see exactly how beliefs are built out of sense data. Those kind of larger categories of theory are more interesting to me than the specifics. That is where epistemology really takes off because of that early cognitive science stuff. How do we start to explain our perceptions? And much less or, you know, more abstract ideas in terms of actual inputs, in terms of what actually happens between physical objects and people.
