Introduction

Upsound is a show where we take a big story from the news that touches the Strong Towns conversation and we upsound it. Chuck Morone, founder of Strong Towns joins Abby Kinney to talk about an op-ed in the New York Times written by Ezra Klein. The author basically makes the case that we are getting worse at construction. He cites this 1982 book by economist Manker Olson called The Rise and Decline of Nations which develops this theory for why nations stagnate amongst affluence then thrive after chaos.
