I think there is something different between simulated reality and real reality okay physical reality. The physics of information or whatever this thing is that we're talking about exists and it's somewhere in chemical space but not encapsulated in what we call it. I don't know if you know of course the word emergence is something that people disagree about what it means so we actually brought that up at my group meeting yesterday. Some like all these words are just so loaded and me consciousness can be a little bit philosophical too.
