The Only Way to Know God Is to Know the Bible

Churches like ours often become class rooms where we learn about god, rather than sanctuaries where we experience and we commune with god. Ii want to be really careful here not to drive too much of a edge between knowing the bible and knowing god, because the only way to know god is to know the bible. And any one who drives a wedge between those two is a fool. But i do want to point out that many of us worship our knowledge of the bible and not the god of the bible. We want to be full of od fact, so we can be puffed oup with pride at how much we know, but we don't really crave or desire to
