How to Trade Long-Term Trend Following Strategies
When we hear the term trend following, we think long-term trades that could go for three to 12 months or sometimes longer. I tend to trade on a more shorter time scale generally. The consulting I do tends to be with funds that are also thinking on a more short time scale. When you're trading over longer time scales, while there is probably more signal per trade, it's harder to predict future much further out.
