Randy Cevallos and Jay Parini worked together for 30 years at carlisle, a law firm. When they returned to the federal reserve in 2009, it was like old friends reuniting. He says public service is much more reflective than other areas of government. The fed has "a limited enough range of responsibilities that you can really think deeply," he says.
