The Importance of Repurchase Obligation in ESOPs
The company bought itself from the owners and then sold itself to a trustee who is slowly giving it back to the employees. A lot of ESOPs stop being ESOPs because they have to go through a merger and acquisition, a recapitalization in order to buy out a lot of exiting employee owners at once. So retention was kind of good before and it's been good after. You know, I'd say we see between eight to 10% turnover, you know, in a year. But that hasn't changed a lot since the Esopp.
