Is It Hypocritical That Norway Continues to Export Oil and Gas to Poor Countries?
Norway is the most fassil fual dependent rich country in the world. Its natural gas and its oil exports are what fuel's growth inside norway. I find it hypocritical that norway then signs a pledge at cop 26 to a prevent the financing of fossil fuels in poor countries. It's not fair to just sort of cut it off for poor countries. And i see natural gas as sort of a bridge fuel, you know, something that can serve as a transition away from coal and towards renewables.
