The Dead Lift Is Hard as Hell, Right?
The dead lift is about methodically setting up and putting a whole bunch of effort into squeezing your chest up and flattening your back. I refer to this thing as a push, not a pull, because i don't want people thinking about pulling the bar with their hands. And then all that force is transmitted through your body, through your rigid spine and into your hands. So pushing the floor away with ha rigid back is the is the way to go.
