The Importance of God in the Redemptive Plan
In the book of Esther, God is with his people even when it seems like he's not there. The Bible says that Cyrus' conquest of Babylon in 539 was a big deal. And what Cyrus does next and letting the Jews go back and rebuild is a big deal as well. Matt: I very personally find that overlap to be hugely enlightening and encouraging and invigorating to explore.
