The State of Black America

I see a resurgence in ha form of patriotism, which is beginning to take seriously the issue that america is at stake. And so it's no longer paternalism that's on the plate. It's no longer a question, what are we goig todo about those folk? But people who can extend a helping hand. When politicians, conservatives and others alike begin to think of black people as bein able to help in shaping the future of the country, we will across the great divide.
