The Solicitor General's View on Section 230
The Supreme Court should decide the issue in such a way as to maximize the chance of Congress getting involved and reenacting whatever the 2023 version of our Grand Section 230 compromise should be. The law passed when we barely understood how the Internet worked, but not possibly have predicted anything important or anything useful about how the Internet should work in 2023. We can all have our own opinions on the policy. I find myself flip-flopping constantly about what I think about the underlying policy. It's just a really hard problem.
