Catherine was a young married woman when she came to england. Her first home was in a street called waterside, and for many years it was a scene of ritual friday night gang fights between the locals and incomers. After her early years, as i understand it, c Catherine no longer worked in the mill, but i am told she had a certain role in her community. She was the woman who laid out the dead.
