Boris Johnson's Resignation Letter

I think what got me was the length of that letter. The resignation letter, if you can call it that, was basically just this one long howl of self-pity. It is an extraordinary beast just to go through. He talks have been driven out, he manages to blame both Harriet Harmon and Sue Gray. But in every other respect, this was Boris Johnson playing from a playbook that has been used by Donald Trump repeatedly and being used by DonaldTrump today. And I just thought there was something really extraordinary about it.
