Bitcoin Core

The blockchain understands what Taproot is. It can process very complicated Taproot scripts just fine. The thing is to actually use those features you need to have wallet software that can use those features. So until people write wallet software that takes advantage of what is possible the adoption of Taproot would be relatively low. There's not a poor request yet to get music into Bitcoin core even.
